Frances visits the homes of people who have recently taken on a Cats Protection cat to check that all is well and answer any questions the new owner may have.
Membership and Follow-on Visits Liaison Officer
Lisa keeps records of our local membership, processes new applications and issues renewal letters. She keeps a list of cats homed and organises follow up checks. She also photographs available cats for the website.
Lost and Found
Louise looks after our up to date lost and found register.
Homing Checks/Transport
Bert visits potential new owners to asses whether a cat will be suitable for them and answer any questions they may have. He also helps with any other transport needs as they arise.
Treasurer
As treasurer Sarah manages the finances of Cheltenham Cats Protection. This includes taking in any donations and membership fees, paying all bills and keeping a record of the annual accounts.
Homing & Welfare Officer
Jenny takes calls about stray or unwanted Cats then arranges bringing cats into CP care. She also takes calls from people who are interested in giving a cat a home and advises which cats are available then arranges for people to visit those cats.

Website Officer
Rachel is responsible
for looking after this website. She also designs the posters for our events and
edits our quarterly 'Mewsround' newsletter.
She can usually be
found behind the bric-a-brac stall.
Quartermaster
Bill orders, collects and stores cat food and supplies. Then delivers to our fosterers when required. He also organises the equipment for our events. He provides and runs the Barbecue in summer and transports donated bric-a-brac.
Feral Coordinator
Barbara goes every day to the feral sites with food. She liaises
with Jenny to trap/neuter ferals and collect any reported strays.
She also fosters cats and has two pens in her garden.
Relief Person
Joan's job is to fill in for whoever is on holiday or unavailable for whatever reason, so she can be doing any one or more of the jobs on this page! She also helps Mary and Jenny when needed.
Fundraising Coordinator
Julie organises and oversees all of our fundraising. This is a huge task including all aspects of planning and running our events, managing the fundraising team, arranging our presence at other events and thinking up new ideas.
Branch Coordinator
As coordinator Mary oversees everything to do with the Cheltenham Branch of Cats Protection in order that all jobs are covered and are running smoothly in line with CP aims. She also deals with general queries from the public.
